Female form workshop
This is a fantastic opportunity to be guided by Emma Simon ceramicist, to create your own sculptural female form using earthenware clay. Emma will guide you through step by step to create a unique female figure. Emma creates beautiful feminine figures that capture the essence of the female form @emmasimonceramics

Raku Making workshop
Make your own ceramic designs (pinch pots, tiles or small bowls)
following the workshop you will leave your creations to be bisque fired ready for the next firing.
Your pieces will then have a final firing at a later date using the Raku firing process

Raku Glazing & Firing workshop
During the first half of the workshop, you will glaze your bisque-fired pieces made in the previous making session.
In the second half, you’ll take part in the outdoor raku firing process, getting hands-on with decorating and smoking your creations as they come from the kiln. You can then take your finished pieces home at the end of the session.

Naked Raku Firing workshop
Your bisque fired pieces made at the previous making workshop will now be ready for firing.
You will be using the outdoor Raku firing process.
To decorate the pots, you’ll use a variety of materials - salt, feathers and horsehair onto the surface as each piece is removed from the high temperature of the raku kiln. The combustible materials instantly burn on contact, leaving beautiful carbon patterns on the finished surface, making every piece completely unique.

Collage and Clay Tile Workshop
This workshop begins with collage techniques to develop your design. Using your finished collage, you’ll then transfer the imagery into a clay tile. The layered card creates rich textures, which are rolled directly into the slab of clay, capturing every mark and detail.
At the end of the session, you’ll leave your tile to be fired and glazed, ready to collect three weeks after the workshop.

Sgraffito Plate workshop
Make your own set of 3 small plate or a larger platter, then using the sgraffito technique you will add your design onto a coloured slip surface. Your piece will then be fired and available to collect approx 2-3 weeks later

Ceramic tile, texture and mark making workshop
We’re thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Eddie Wolinski as our guest potter. With over 40 years experience, Eddie will guide you through creating stunning textures and mark-making techniques using slips and underglazes.
